Invita, QV Market

Invita is a must-stop for me whenever I do my grocery shopping at Victoria Market! If you’re looking for vegan baked goodies, this is a place for you. Brownies, tofu cheesecake, bliss balls, cookies, pies, sandwiches.... A large variety! BUT I always have the same thing...

Berry Vegan Muffin

Vegan or not, this is the best muffin I’ve ever had! The best thing about this muffin is its huge & over-flowing muffin top! The insides were slightly crumbly but the muffin top was heavenly. Sweet, crunchy & very biscuit-like. I expected more berries but the muffin top definitely made up for the lack of berries ;)

After my sweet muffin boost, my sweet tooth was crying for more! So, I headed off to the nearest Woolies to get some ice-cream. Inspired by Lexie's WIAW, I was eager to try Sanitarium's Soy Chocolate ice cream but sadly, there wasn't any. So, I settled for the next best thing...

Sanitarium So Good Vanilla Bliss

Lots of people are skeptical when it comes to non-dairy ice cream but as a soy lover, I was excited! And as expected, my spoon kept digging for more! The soy flavour was mild but present, so, if you're a fan of soy milk, you'd absolutely love this. Such a shame that there weren't any chocolate ones left!

And to end my series of sweet eats...
A cut of rockmelon or is it cantaloupe?

  1. I call it cantaloupe. But is it rockmelon? Hahah.

  2. HELO Jiggly! :D no idea... I usually call 'em rockmelons and never actually knew that they were called cantaloupes until I wiki-ed it one day!

  3. Dayum, what are the prices like at Invita Cafe? Honestly I hate paying so much for vegan food which is why I rarely eat out-you can bake vegan goodies truly easily.

What was the price of the muffin?
