Notice how most of the cupcake pictures are taken from my iPhone? That’s because you’ll never know when you feel like eating one... ;)
Green Tea Cupcake with Red Bean filling
Red bean and green tea are meant to be together. Like peanut butter & jam, tea & biscuits, cereal & milk and bread & butter. The cupcakes looked much prettier compared to these babycakes but I went for the latter to fit another flavour in.
The green tea was subtle but definitely present! Again, the cupcakes were delightfully moist & light and the frosting was delish!

Mandarin and Chamomile
The name certainly reminds me that spring is here! Instead of the usual frosting, this cupcake was topped with a sweet, citrus-y glaze and sprinkled with a dash of chamomile tea leaves. I loved the glaze! It gave a refreshing taste to the cupcake without being overly sweet and the chamomile added a tang of sophistication.
Thankfully, it’s only the start of spring and I have few more months to enjoy these babies! ;)
Check out other yummy flavours!:
- Choc Hazelnut
- Cherry Pistachio
- Peanut Butter & Jelly
- Red Velvet
- Black Velvet
- White Chocolate Raspberry

When I was in Japan in 2007, I was unable to resist *anything* with the green tea + red bean combination! Oh, how I wish this cupcake existed in Canberra!
